Today, Monday, November 12th, has been set aside to honor veterans. I would like to dedicate this Listening on the Journey… blog post to men and women who have or are currently serving their country.
The national holiday was established originally to honor the end of World War I on November 11, 1918. That war was called ‘the war to end all wars.’ Of course, history has shown that was not the case. Many men and women since then have risen to answer the call to serve their nation.
If you are a veteran—past or present—THANK YOU! Because of your service and sacrifice, little ones like my two youngest grandchildren are blessed to enjoy freedoms in the USA!
Emmi and Reeve in the hoodies Grandma and Grandpa brought them from our recent trip to Washington, D. C.
Blessings to all…
