Perseverance Persists

I have a real problem with procrastination and have fine-tuned the “art of postponing.” Recently, while considering soul care, I felt as if perseverance is vitally important, and I have been working on this.

One of my heroes is Stephen Robinson. From the beginning, Stephen has been  my web manager, and Listening on the Journey … would never happen without him. I am grateful to this strong, patient, kind, gentle family man who epitomizes godly perseverance in so many ways.

You may have read Stephen’s guest posts, many of which have chronicled his training for “Ironman” competitions. Currently, he is preparing for a full Ironman in Waco, Texas, in October 2022.

I asked Stephen to write guest post(s) about perseverance and what he has learned about persisting in the grueling physical, emotional, mental and spiritual training necessary for an endeavor such as Ironman. While I know I will never compete in any event that even remotely resembles Ironman, I believe you and I can learn from his example.

So, stay tuned!

Blessings on your journey of perseverance!
