Humbling words from those who’ve trusted me to accompany them on their journey.

  • Honoring a person’s story.

  • Respecting her or his vision.

  • Helping clarify goals and action steps to achieve desired results.

Listening beyond words to the heart of one’s message is the number-one goal of a life coach.

The journey of life involves many seasons of change and transition. These times are often challenging and confusing. My goal as a life coach is to help each person being coached navigate unknowns and step into success.

The following endorsements come from a variety of people all of whom were in some stage of transition. It has been my joy and privilege to come alongside them as they made meaningful ‘next-step’ decisions.

I am excited to recommend Sue Reeve as a personal life coach.  Sue brings an innate wisdom to her coaching work because of her life experience but also the spiritual depth she has.  This makes her unique.  Sue worked with me as a life coach when I was contemplating retirement and needing to define what that transition would look like and if it was the right decision for me to make at that time.  Like many, family and career encompassed most of my time and energy.  Retirement meant redefining priorities and growing in ways that I would need to make a successful transition.  Sue has a way of asking questions that makes one think, feel challenged and leads to insight, action, and growth.

I had been feeling the “divine discontentment” Sue references for a few years regarding my small business. I had considered a variety of possible changes but hadn’t followed through with any of the options. I was stuck when a sudden major growth opportunity presented itself. I am not one to quickly adapt to change, and this growth opportunity required quick adaptation. I knew I needed a coach to help me through it. Sue helped me discover what I needed to acknowledge and address to adapt to the necessary changes I was facing to successfully navigate the growth I was experiencing. She did this in such a way that led me to realize truths about myself that I needed to accept and process, making the adjustments to growth acceptable and doable.

My journey with coaching began a little over three years ago. I was making the transition into retirement from a successful career of 25 years. I was struggling with purpose, significance, and a whole lot of shame-based reactions in my relationships.  Coaching differed from the prescriptive paths to wholeness I had pursued in the past. In coaching, I was encouraged to discover what actions worked best for me. Through the coaching process, I was able to discern the Holy Spirit’s nudge in my life more, and the external influences in my life less.

Through coaching, I have experienced greater freedom to love God, and myself.  I can experience my God design as I move toward the freedom of letting go of expectations, making room for the Holy Spirit to work.

I have a lot of changes coming in my life.  Working with Sue first as a coach and then transitioning to spiritual direction has given me greater clarity of what the Lord is directing me into. I’m learning to hear the Holy Spirit in exciting, challenging, and mundane moments.  I have been extremely grateful for the direction Sue has provided because it has allowed me to become more of the person I long to be and to do the things that my soul has been longing to do.

Wow, there is so much I can say about how amazing it has been to work with Sue Reeve! When I first started meeting with Sue, I had many different things on my plate and wasn't sure which direction I should go. I had split myself and my time in so many different ways that I felt stuck. From our very first meeting, I left with clarity and excitement. Over the months and years that we continued to meet, I went from being unsure and sometimes quite emotional to now having met many goals, and I also have a clear view of what I need to do to reach more. My life is forever changed in the best way!

I began coaching with Sue Reeve shortly after I became a licensed minister. Sue has helped me see the gifts and calling for my life that lay before me, recognize my barriers, and help me set God-led goals as I began to step into this new season. I appreciate Sue's sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit and her wisdom each time we have met. With Sue's coaching, I am walking out God's call with new confidence I am right where God wants me to be.
