Venice, Italy – “La Serenissima  – Most Serene”

Imagine a city where no vehicles with wheels are permitted—no trucks, cars, scooters, bicycles, nor skateboards.

You’ve just imagined Venice, Italy.

Venice is one city made up of over 100 small neighborhood islands connected by more than 400 bridges. It is an extremely popular tourist destination and one of the most charming and picturesque places I have ever been.

Venice is a photographer’s dream. The other day, Ron and I were looking for a frame at Hobby Lobby, and many of the stock photos in frames were scenes from Venice. Some of Ron’s best photos were taken during the two days we spent in this Italian city, which has been called “Queen of the Adriatic.”

I will do two different blog posts with photographs from Venice. Today’s post includes several water scene photos I numbered 1-10. If you like, please make a Comment to let me know your favorite since I am planning to get one enlarged and framed for our home, and I value your opinion.
