The final years of my career were spent as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional, serving on a critical incident stress management team and helping employees and managers navigate behavioral workplace issues.
Following retirement, working with a professional life coach convinced me I was at a crossroads and could choose a path involving significant new learning and a meaning-filled phase of my life journey.
For several years, I’ve worked part time at Lake City Church in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, as a pastoral counselor, group leader and care ministries coordinator.
I’m certified as a life coach through International Coach Federation and currently am in a program that will lead to certification as a spiritual director.
Since 2016, I’ve been writing a bi-weekly blog called—you guessed it—Listening on the Journey…
My purpose: In a grace-filled, winsome way—to point people to a never-changing God in our always-changing world.
