Bee & Sweet Memory

I was enjoying watching a busy bee gather nectar from our backyard Bee Balm when I recalled a story about my then three-year-old daughter who is now a soon-to-be grandmother.

Angie went to a Christian pre-school while I worked. Working moms are often weary after a long day, and three-year-olds seem to have a knack of knowing how not to be cooperative when Mom is tired! I was scolding Angie for dawdling instead of getting ready for bed, when she put her little hands on her hips, looked fully into my face, and said, “Mommy, BE ye kind one to another!”

The memory made me smile. I believe it was as sweet as that honeybee’s nectar!

May you be blessed with a sweet memory today!
