Enjoying a Garden of Graces

Sometimes, I want to give someone a “just because…” gift.  No special reason. No strings attached. I may believe the gift will help lighten my love one’s load or make a task easier to manage. At other times, the gift is given to encourage and lift spirits. Always, the gift is given from a heart of love.

Grace is God’s “just because…” gift. I don’t deserve it. I did nothing to earn it. Sometimes, it helps me endure difficulties. At other times, it feels like a Heavenly hug. Always, it reminds me that God knows me and loves me!

Recently, I completed a nine-month intensive spiritual growth program. Every day, I was to ask God for a particular grace. When the curriculum concluded, I was encouraged to review journals I had kept during this time, and from entries, do what is called a “Gathering of Graces.”

I love flowers, so I chose to call my “gathering” a Garden of Graces. Since my hubby enjoys photographing flowers, I decided to combine unique graces in my garden with some lovely flower images Ron has captured. I hope you’ll enjoy.

Like a strong stone wall protecting my soul, the GRACE of certainty God loves me and all those I love!
