NOVEMBER GRATITUDE: Family Moments & Memories

Happy Monday!

Family always is at the top of my gratitude list. I am so very grateful for my parents as well as Ron’s parents, our eight siblings, plus all the offspring that resulted from our unions. I am also filled with deep, deep gratitude for generations of grandparents—most whom passed before we were born—whose legacy continues to impact our lives.

November 22, 23, and 24 are all landmark days in our family. November 22nd is Ron’s sister Pam’s birthday as well as the birthdate of our firstborn granddaughter, Sydney, who is pictured in the first photo with her fiancé, Bryan.

Two years and one day later, on November 23rd, Mackenzie (picture #2) made her grand entrance. Mackenzie is a graduate student at San Francisco University.

November 24th was my parents’ anniversary and the date our older daughter, Angie, and Jonny chose to get married. In addition to Sydney and Mackenzie, Angie and Jon also brought our wonderful grandson, Jackson, and cute little “grand puppy,” Freddie, into the family. (Picture #3)

I feel it is significant that quite often one of their special days falls on Thanksgiving. This year that will be the wedding anniversaries of Mom, Dad, Angie, and Jon!

In closing, I’d like to offer a blessing to you and all those you love and declare with the Psalmist,

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever
(Psalm 136:1).

Blessings on your day!
