NOVEMBER GRATITUDE: A Special Day Dedicated to Giving Thanks!
The most important words I want to share today are:
Happy Thanksgiving!
I know you are busy preparing for this special holiday, and so, I’d simply like to say “Thanks!” to each person who takes time to read Listening on the Journey … and share with you some of the lovely photos Ron took during our recent Western Montana getaway. I hope you will enjoy!
When I saw this refection, I thought about how the writer of Hebrews describes Jesus, [He] perfectly mirrors God, and is stamped with God’s nature. He holds everything together by what he says … (The Message 1:3).
Montana and railroads seem to go together. I grew up in a “Great Northern” town so enjoyed this leaded glass window at the Izaak Walton Inn in Essex, Montana where we stopped for lunch. Great Northern became Burlington Northern in the 70’s. In the 90’s, another merger occurred, and the railroad line is now known as Burlington Northern Santa Fe. Times, they’re always changing, huh!
Another reflection to remind us of Jesus!
I always think of slender ladies dressed up in beautiful gold lame gowns whenever I see Tamaracks in their autumn glory gracefully adorning mountain forests. They were really showing off this year!

I am always fascinated by empty benches of many types. This one was so very “Montanaesque!”

Our Wednesday morning walk! What a difference a day can make! Reminds me of the minister who said, “God never acts quickly, but God always acts suddenly!”
