God of Living Waters Blessing
Recently, a friend told me she wanted to give me a blessing, and hey, I am always open to receiving a blessing!
I closed my eyes, and she read slowly these words:
May the God of Living Water bless you. May God cleanse your perspective on the world around you, removing all that is unholy. May God refresh your spirit and renew you for the sake of the gospel. May you be submerged and saturated with a deep sense of God’s profound care for you, and may this awareness wash over all you touch. May the God of Living Water bless you.
Later, she told me this blessing was one sent out daily by an order of Dominican nuns in Grand Rapids, Michigan (grdominicans.org). I wasted no time getting on their “blessings” list!
Today, I would like to pass on this blessing to you along with my prayer that you would feel the refreshment of the God of Living Water as you “sail” through your day. (The photo is one Ron took a couple years ago on a picture-perfect day when we were vacationing in Southern California.)
